Ramesh Engineering Works

Working in engineering means your hands are always a bit dirty. We are located down at Mandvi Garvepalya, right off the Hosur Main Road. It is a loud place because of all the trucks and the machines we run during the day. We have been here for years, dealing with metal and repairs. The floor is concrete and has some oil stains that won't ever come out, no matter how much we scrub. We have some heavy lathes and welding gear that we use from morning until late. The heat from the metal can be a lot in the summer months, but we have some big fans that help move the air around. Hosur Road is always jammed, so we hear the honking all day long. It's just part of the job. Most of our tools are old but they still work fine if you know how to handle them. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. People just walk in through the big shutter and find us at the back. We keep a ledger on a small desk near the entrance to track the jobs. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a specific part for a customer who is in a hurry. It is hard work, and we are usually pretty tired by the time we lock up. But it is what we know how to do, so we keep at it every day. There is no point in complaining about the grease or the noise.
