Rajdeep Engineers

Working out of 900 / 3 / B in the G.I.D.C. Industrial Estate at Makarpura keeps us pretty busy. Rajdeep Engineers has been in this spot for a while now. The industrial estate is like a city of its own, and sometimes people get lost trying to find our specific block. It’s a lot of grey buildings and the sound of tools. Our workshop isn't anything fancy, just a solid roof and the equipment we need to do our engineering work. We usually have a few projects going on at once, so there’s always a bit of a mess on the workbenches. Tools get left out and there’s always a faint smell of oil in the air. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to write pretty letters for us. It’s just us engineers and the guys who handle the manual work. We talk about tolerances and materials mostly. Lunchtime usually involves sitting around a small table and ignoring the noise from the street. The address might sound a bit long, but once you find the G.I.D.C. entrance, it’s not too bad. We prefer it this way, being right where the action is. Every day is different depending on what kind of parts come in for repair or fabrication. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to get things right the first time around.
