Priyal Engineering

We set up Priyal Engineering out here in Manjusar at Deccan 479. It’s more of an industrial area, so it’s not exactly pretty, but it’s where the work happens. The shop floor is usually loud and there's always something being moved around. We’ve got a small crew of guys who have been with us for years. They know the machines better than anyone. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Usually, someone hears about us from another shop and gives us a call. We spend most of our time on custom parts and repairs. It’s dirty work and our hands are usually covered in oil by noon. We don't have a fancy front office or a receptionist. If the phone rings, whoever is closest to it picks up. Sometimes we're so busy we can't get to it right away. We just try to get the jobs done on time so the customers don't get stuck. Manjusar is a bit of a drive for some, but for the kind of stuff we do, it’s the right place to be. We don't have any big plans to change how we operate. As long as the machines are running and the orders keep coming in, we're happy. It's a simple life out here at Deccan 479. We just focus on the metal and the measurements and try to get it right the first time. We've had this same roof leaking for a year now, but we'll get to it.
