Precision Engineering Industries

Precision Engineering Industries is our workshop in the Acid Mill Compound on Ranmukteshwar Road. Pratap Nagar is an older part of the city with narrow roads and a lot of character. The compound has been here for a long time, and it shows in the cracked pavement and the old brickwork. We do general engineering work, making components for other businesses in the area. Our shop is filled with the smell of cutting oil and the sound of metal being turned. It can get very hot inside during the summer, so we keep the big fans running all day long. We have a small crew of five people who know how to operate all the machines. We don't have a fancy office or any glossy brochures to show people. Most of our customers are neighbors from within the compound or people who have been coming to us for years. We handle small batches and custom jobs that the bigger factories won't touch. Sometimes the power fluctuates and we have to pause the work, which can be frustrating. There is a small temple nearby, and we can hear the evening prayers while we are finishing up for the day. It is just a regular workshop where we do our best to make parts that fit and work like they are supposed to.
