You can find Prabhat Industries right across from the Bank of Baroda on R V Desai Road. We are at number 4 in Ashok Colony. It’s a handy spot because everyone knows where the bank is, so we don't have to give long directions over the phone. The building is older, but it serves us well for what we do. Inside, there’s usually a lot of noise from the machines running. We’ve got a small team here. Most of the guys have been with us for a long time. We start early in the morning before the traffic on R V Desai Road gets too bad. The workshop floor is always busy with different projects going on at the same time. We don't really have a front office, just a desk in the corner where we keep the ledgers and the phone. It’s dusty work, so we’re always cleaning up at the end of the shift. We make things mostly for other businesses nearby. Sometimes people walk in off the street asking questions, and we do our best to help them out even if we’re in the middle of a big run. There’s no marketing team here or anyone in a suit. We wear work clothes because we’re hands-on with the production every single day. It’s just how we like to run things. Simple, honest work in a part of town we know well.
