Baroda Texway

Baroda Texway is located at C/12 on Road No. 1 in the Sardar Estate. We are tucked away right behind Super Bakers on Ajwa Road. One of the best things about being here is the smell of fresh bread and biscuits that comes from the bakery next door every morning. It makes the industrial estate feel a bit more like home than the usual smoke and exhaust. Our unit is a basic warehouse-style space where we keep all the textiles. There are tall racks filled with different fabrics and materials. It’s not a fancy place with carpets or nice furniture; it’s a working building with a lot of heavy lifting involved. We spend our time checking the quality of the rolls and making sure the orders are ready to go out. The road outside can get a bit muddy when it rains because of all the trucks passing through the estate. We usually have a big calendar on the wall where we mark everything down in pencil. The office part is just a small corner with a couple of chairs and a wooden table that’s seen better days. We don't have a lot of visitors, mostly just delivery drivers and people we’ve known for a long time. It’s a quiet way to run a textile business, just sticking to the routine and getting the work done day by day.
