Tiwari Engineering Works

We have been operating out of unit 328 in the Gidc Estate for a good while now. Most days around here are filled with the constant sound of metal hitting metal and the heavy smell of machine grease. Being located in Por-ramangamdi means we see a lot of the same familiar faces every single morning. It is a busy industrial spot. We handle different engineering jobs as they come through the door. Some days it is a big order for a factory, other times it is just a local person needing a small metal part fixed or welded. The workshop floor gets quite dusty and it stays very hot during the summer months, but that is just how it is working in this part of Vadodara. I remember when we first moved into this specific unit, it felt way too big for us, but now we are practically tripping over metal scraps and old tools. We do not have a fancy front office or anything like that. There is just a metal desk with too many papers on it and a phone that always rings when you are right in the middle of a difficult task. My hands are usually stained with dark oil by ten in the morning. People around here know where to find us if they need something made or repaired properly. We do not do much talking, mostly just focusing on the lathes and the welding machines. Sometimes the power goes out and we all just sit outside on the steps for a bit until it comes back. It is just honest work.
