Payal Saree Centre

Our shop is out on Ajwa Road near the Yogeshwar Township. We are right off Brigade Road on Church Street at number 18. It’s a good location because it’s not as crazy as the main city center but there are still plenty of people walking by. We started Payal Saree Centre because there wasn't much for sarees in this specific area at the time. The building is okay but the parking can be a bit of a mess in the evenings when everyone gets home from work. Inside we have shelves lined with all kinds of sarees. We aren't decorators so the shop looks pretty basic with white walls and some bright lights. My wife and I handle most of the customers ourselves. We don't have a staff of twenty people. We just do the work ourselves and keep the place clean. Sometimes the kids help out after school if we have a lot of deliveries to sort through. People from the township usually stop by on their way home to see what’s new. We don't have a mission statement or a fancy philosophy. We just want to sell good sarees and make enough to keep the lights on and the family fed. It’s a local business and we treat it like one. No corporate talk here.
