Patel Engineering Works

Patel Engineering Works is out in the Makarpura Industrial Estate. Our unit is 747/8 in Gidc. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always the sound of machinery and welding going on nearby. Our workshop is full of tools, scrap metal, and half-finished projects. It’s not a clean environment, but it’s where the work happens. We have a small office at the front where we keep the blueprints and the billing books. Most of our day is spent out on the floor fixing things or making parts. We started small and stayed that way because we like being hands-on. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy logo on our shirts. Our clothes usually have a few oil stains on them by noon. If someone needs something fabricated or repaired, they just come by the gate. We take a look and tell them if we can do it. It’s straightforward. We’ve got some old machines that still run better than the new ones. We don't plan on moving anywhere else. This estate has everything we need to keep going. It’s hard work, and the days are long, but we’re used to it. We don't need to put on a show for anyone. We just get the job done and move on to the next one that comes through the door. It’s what we know.
