Our office is in Shital Apartment, Room B/105, which is right near the Utkarsh Petrol Pump in Karelibaug. It is a convenient spot because everyone knows the petrol pump landmark. We aren't in a big glass skyscraper; we just work out of this apartment space. It makes things feel a bit more relaxed, even when we are busy with paperwork. Most of what we do involves consulting on import and export matters. That means a lot of time on the phone or staring at customs forms. We don't have a receptionist in a uniform. If the bell rings, one of us just gets up to open the door. Karelibaug is a nice area, and we like being part of the local community here. Sometimes we walk over to the nearby stalls for a snack in the evening. Our desks are covered in files and coffee mugs. We don't use big words to sound important. We just explain things to people in a way that makes sense to them. The apartment can get a bit warm in the afternoon, so we keep the fans going at full speed. We’ve been in this building for several years now. It’s a simple setup that works well for us and the people who come to see us. We focus on the details of the documents so our clients don't have to worry. Sometimes we stay late when there's a deadline, but we usually head out by six.
