Parmar Traders

You can find Parmar Traders right near the old Waghodia bus stand. We are very close to the Dena Bank, so it’s easy for people to spot us when they come into town. It is a busy spot. People are always getting off buses and walking by our door. We sell a bit of everything for construction and home repair. The shop is a bit crowded with stock, but we know where everything is. Vaghodia is a small place where everyone knows each other’s names. We like it that way. When someone comes in, we usually talk about the weather or the local news before getting down to business. It’s not like the big city shops where they don’t care who you are. We’ve had this spot for years. The building is old and sometimes the roof leaks a little when it rains hard, but it’s home. We keep the books by hand mostly. It’s simpler. Our neighbors are good people. If we run out of change, we just pop over to the next shop. Dealing with supplies can be tiring, but it's what we've always done. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to be here for the people who need a bag of cement or some tools. It’s a quiet life if you don’t mind the bus engines. Some afternoons we just sit and watch the world go by from the front step.
