Paras Engineering

Paras Engineering is located in Shed No. D-29 on Road No. 3 in the Sardar Industrial Estate. It is right off Ajwa Road. Our place is basically a big workshop filled with machines and tools. There is usually the sound of metal cutting or welding going on from the moment we open the shutters in the morning. We do various engineering jobs, mostly fixing parts or making small components for other factories nearby. It is greasy work, and we all end the day with dirty hands and stained clothes. The shed gets really hot in the summer, so we have a few big fans going all the time. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. If someone wants to talk to us, they usually just walk right into the workshop. We have a small desk in the back where we keep the drawings and the tools, but mostly we are on our feet. It is a practical environment where we focus on getting the measurements right. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend half the night getting it running again. We don't mind the long hours because there is always something to fix or build. Most of our clients are regular folks from around the industrial estate who know we can handle the tough jobs. That is basically what we do here every single day.
