Pakona Engineers India Pvt Ltd

We are located in Oxford Chambers at Makarpura. It sounds quite fancy on paper, but it’s just a standard engineering office in a very industrial part of the city. Being at 917/3 on Rustom Bagh Main Road means there are always heavy trucks and machinery moving around outside. At Pakona Engineers, we do a lot of technical work. My desk is usually covered in blueprints and technical drawings that I’ve been staring at for hours. The air in Makarpura is always a bit thick with dust and the sound of metal being worked on nearby. We have a small team here and we mostly just stick to ourselves and get the engineering jobs done. The office has those old-fashioned fluorescent lights that flicker sometimes. We have a small pantry where we make our own coffee because the local shop is too far to walk to in the heat. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a lot of decorations. We just have calendars from three years ago still hanging on the walls. The work is steady but it requires a lot of concentration. Sometimes we have to go out to the sites to see how the machines are actually performing, which is the best part of the day. It gets us out of the building for a bit. We don't have any big slogans or fancy uniforms. We are just engineers trying to make things work correctly.
