Omkar Art Gallery My Gallery is situated at C-92 in the "Shreeji" Vrundavan Township. We are on the Iskcon Temple Road, just off Vasana Road in Vadodara, 390015. The gallery is a modest space that we've set up to show off various pieces of art. It’s not a huge museum-style building, but it has a nice feel to it. We spend a lot of our time making sure the paintings are hung straight and that the frames are clean. Vadodara can be a bit dusty, so there is always a bit of wiping down to do. People from the township often stop by while they are out for a walk. We don't have a big team of sales people. It’s usually just one or two of us sitting at a small desk near the back. We talk to the artists and help them figure out where their work should go. Iskcon Temple Road gets quite busy on the weekends, which brings in some extra people. We don't use a lot of fancy language to describe the art. We just let the paintings speak for themselves on the walls. The township is a friendly place to be, and we feel like we are part of the local scene here. We keep our records in a simple notebook and don't worry too much about corporate polish.
