Om Sai Ice Cream Parlour

You can find Om Sai Ice Cream Parlour on Amin Road, right near Geeta Kanaya School. Being close to the school means we see a lot of students and parents every afternoon. It gets busy around three o'clock when the bells ring. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. The shop isn't very big but we make it work. We spend a lot of time checking our stock and making sure the machines are working right because the heat on Amin Road can be tough in the summer. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you’ll usually see one of us behind the counter. We don't have fancy uniforms or a big corporate office somewhere. We just live and work right here in the neighborhood. Sometimes the neighbors stop by just to chat for a bit even if they aren't buying anything. We like that. It feels like part of the community. We keep things pretty simple with the flavors we have. Nothing too crazy, just the usual stuff people like. If you are looking for us, look for the school and we are just a short walk away. The road gets a bit dusty but that’s just how it is around here. We try to keep the floor swept and the glass clean. It's a lot of work but it keeps us busy and we like seeing the kids happy with their snacks after a long day of classes.
