You can find us at Plot No. 860 / 1 / 1/ B in the G.I.D.C. Estate in Makarpura. Being inside a big industrial estate like this means we’re surrounded by other workshops and factories, so there’s always the sound of machinery in the background. It’s a bit of a maze if you aren’t used to the plot numbers, but we’ve been here long enough that it feels like home. Narayan Engineering isn’t a massive operation. We are a relatively small group of people who know our way around engineering tools and materials. We don't spend money on glossy brochures or big advertisements because we’d rather just focus on the work itself. Most of our time is spent right here at the estate, dealing with the daily tasks of fabrication or whatever else comes our way. The weather in Makarpura can get pretty hot, and the shed gets warm, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to do a decent job for whoever walks through our door. It’s a practical business. We talk to the neighboring shop owners about the power cuts or the road conditions, and we help each other out when we can. That’s just how things go here in the G.I.D.C. It’s about getting the work done right and keeping things moving without making a big deal out of it. We take it one day at a time.
