Nagar S Engineering Works

You can find us at 875/6 Makarpura, right at the 13th cross. We are directly opposite Modnern Foods, so if you smell bread or snacks, you are probably close to our workshop. Nagar S Engineering Works is a place where there is always the sound of metal or tools. It’s an engineering shop, so things get a bit greasy and loud. We have been in this part of Makarpura for a long time. The street outside is usually busy with trucks and workers. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll just see one of us working on a machine or looking at a drawing. We keep the big doors open for ventilation because it gets quite hot in the afternoons. Our tools are organized in their own way, even if it looks a bit cluttered to someone else. We fix things and make parts as they are needed. It’s practical work. Most of our regulars are other business owners from the same area. We know the guys at the tea shop and the security guards down the road. It’s a community of makers and fixers. We don't spend much time on the computer, mostly we are on our feet. It's a tiring job but it feels good to finish a piece of work by the end of the day. There is always something that needs fixing or welding.
