Moon Engineering Works

If you head down to the Gidc Industrial Estate in Makarpura, you’ll find us at Moon Engineering Works. Our spot is at Door No. 624/4, and we are quite close to the main bus stand, which makes it easy for the staff to get to work every day. Being near the bus stand means there is always a lot of activity and people moving around. The estate itself is quite large, but we’ve been in this specific corner for a good while. The workshop is usually filled with the smell of cutting oil and the sound of lathes or other machines humming along. It’s a honest kind of place. We don’t have fancy air conditioning or carpets. It’s just concrete floors and sturdy workbenches. We often leave the big doors open to catch whatever breeze we can get. Most days are spent looking at drawings or measuring parts. We don’t really go in for fancy talk or big presentations. If someone needs something done, they just come in and show us what they have. We’ve seen the estate change over the years, with new businesses coming and going, but we just stay focused on our own daily list. It’s a busy life here in Makarpura, and we are just one part of the bigger industrial picture. We like the routine of opening up, getting the machines started, and seeing what the day brings. Usually, we wrap things up around six and head home. It’s not much, but it’s ours and we’ve made a life here.
