Modern Dresses

Mandvi Panigate Road is always a busy place to be every single day. We spend most of our time here at Modern Dresses just keeping up with the flow of people walking past our door. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a regular spot where we keep the racks full and the floor swept as much as we can. Being near the Panigate area means there is always noise from the traffic and the local vendors shouting, but you get used to it after a while. We open up early when the sun is still low and the air is a bit cooler. Most of our day is spent helping people look through the different outfits we have in stock. Some days it is quiet and we just sit on the stools near the entrance, watching the scooters go by and talking to the neighbor who runs the small shop next door. The dust from the road gets inside pretty easily so we are constantly cleaning the glass and the hangers. It is a simple life of managing the inventory and making sure things are in the right place. We don't have big flashy signs or anything like that. People just know where we are because we've been on this road for a long time. When the evening comes and the street lights turn on, the whole road feels different and that is usually when our busiest time starts. We just do our work and go home.
