Minaxi Engineering Works

Minaxi Engineering Works is down in the G I D C Estate at Makarpura. Our shop is at 920/3, right across from Conment Engineer on the Baner Road side. It gets pretty loud around here with all the other workshops running their machines, but that is just how it is in this part of town. The floor usually has some metal shavings on it and there is always a bit of oil smell in the air. We have been working out of this spot for years now. Most of the guys have been here a long time too. We do a lot of different types of engineering work, mostly fixing things or making parts that people need. The heat in the summer gets quite bad inside the shed, so we keep the big doors open as much as we can. There is a small tea stall just down the road where we go when we need a break from the noise. It is not a polished corporate office or anything like that. It is just a workspace with tools and benches. Sometimes we have to shout a bit to be heard over the lathes. Dealing with the traffic on Baner Road in the morning can be a bit of a headache, but we make it in. We just show up, do the work, and try to keep things moving. That is how things go for us daily. It is a basic lifestyle here.
