Microtech Engineers

You can find our workshop in Part 2 of the Shah Industrial Estate, over in Savli Taluka. We are pretty close to Station Road, which makes it easy for us to get parts and for people to find us. We handle engineering work, which basically means we fix or make metal parts for machines. It’s a messy place with oil on the floors and bits of scrap metal in the corners. We’ve got some old lathes and milling machines that have been with us since we opened. We don't have a big office or any secretaries. Usually, one of us will wipe the grease off our hands to pick up the phone when it rings. We’ve been working in the Shah Industrial Estate for years, so we know all the other shop owners nearby. If we don’t have a specific tool, we can usually borrow it from the guys down the street. It’s a tight-knit community of workers. We don't do any formal marketing. Our work usually speaks for itself, and people hear about us through word of mouth. We enjoy the challenge of figuring out why a machine isn't working right. It’s a lot of trial and error sometimes, but we always get there in the end. We aren't a high-tech lab. We’re just a practical engineering shop where we put in a full day's work and try to keep the local industries running smoothly with the parts they need.
