Mevad Ice Cream

We are located in Rozi Tower, right by Vaishali Cinema. It’s a busy spot because of the movies and being near Vaishali Chokdi. Mevad Ice Cream is a small shop, nothing like those big parlors in the malls. We have a few freezers and a counter that’s seen a lot of use. The floor is made of old stone and it’s a bit worn down in the spots where people stand the most. We get a lot of people coming in after a show finishes at the cinema. It gets pretty hectic for about twenty minutes, then it goes quiet again. We don't have fancy uniforms, just our regular clothes. My cousin helps me out during the busy hours. We get our milk and cream from a local supplier every couple of days. We don't have any fancy signs or neon lights. Just a simple board with the name on it. The air conditioning in the tower isn't the best, so we have a couple of extra fans blowing. Sometimes they make a bit of a rattling noise. We don't mind it much. We’ve been at this location for years and have seen many shops come and go. We just stay here and keep scooping ice cream. It’s a decent way to make a living and we know the locals well. The evening breeze usually helps cool the place down once the sun sets and the traffic thins out.
