Meetal Engineering

Our place, Meetal Engineering, is located at L-199/1 in the G.I.D.C. Industrial Estate over in Por. It’s a typical industrial area, so there are a lot of other sheds and factories around us. You can hear the hum of machines from the street if you walk by. Being in Por G.I.D.C. means it’s mostly about work here; there aren’t many shops or parks nearby, just a lot of industrial activity and trucks moving in and out. We spend most of our hours on the floor handling engineering tasks and managing the machines. It gets pretty hot inside during the summer months, but that is just how it is in this part of the country. We don’t have any big signs or flashy lights out front. It is just the name on the door and the address. Most people who come by are here for a specific reason, like a delivery or to check on some parts. We like to keep things simple and not overcomplicate the day. Usually, the morning starts with a quick check of what needs to be done, and then we just get stuck in. There’s a lot of metal and grease involved in what we do, so it’s a messy job sometimes. By the end of the day, everyone is pretty tired, but we make sure the workshop is tidied up before we head home. It is a decent place to work if you don’t mind getting your hands dirty and doing some honest labor.
