Our shop is tucked away in the Vaikunth Enterprise section of the Makarpura GIDC. It is unit 323/B/6, right in the thick of the industrial estate where things are always moving. We have been here a while now, dealing with all the engineering jobs that come through the door. Most days it is just us and the machines, making parts or fixing whatever broke down the day before. The floor stays a bit dusty from the work, but that is how it goes when you are working with metal and tools all day. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. People find us because they need something specific made or a piece of equipment needs a look. We don't have a fancy front office or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we get the job done. The air smells like oil and iron, which is pretty normal for this part of town. We mostly know the neighbors around here who are doing the same kind of work. It is not always quiet, but we are used to the noise of the machinery. If you are looking for us, look for the Vaikunth sign and then head back to the B block. We usually have the shutters up early so we can get started before it gets too hot in the afternoon. It is hard work but it keeps us busy and the bills paid.
