Krishna Engineering

Savli is a bit of a drive, especially getting into Manjusar GIDC. Krishna Engineering is located at Plot No. 59 on Road 9. It’s pretty easy to find because we are near the bus stand. You see a lot of people waiting for their rides when we open up in the morning. The air in the GIDC always smells like metal and exhaust. We have a small team here, and we mostly focus on basic engineering tasks that come our way. The building isn't anything special to look at, just some bricks and metal roofing. Inside, it’s mostly just the machines and a couple of desks piled with papers. We don’t really bother with big meetings or corporate talk. If something breaks, we fix it. If a job comes in, we do it. The floor is concrete and hard on the feet, so we all wear thick boots. At lunch, some of us go over to the stalls by the bus stand to grab a bite. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it pays the bills and keeps the family going. We’ve seen other shops come and go on Road 9, but we’ve managed to stay put. It’s just a regular day-to-day grind for us. We don’t overthink things much. We just show up and do what needs to be done.
