A R Engineering Works

A R Engineering Works sits over at Plot No. 377 in the Gidc Estate. If you know where the Bobbardier Crossing is, then you are basically here. The traffic at the crossing can be a bit much during the peak hours, so we usually hear a lot of horns and the sound of the trains passing through. Our plot is a decent size, giving us enough room to spread out our tools and the parts we are working on. It is not the newest building in the estate, but it serves its purpose. We have a few windows high up that let in some light, but mostly we rely on the overhead lamps. The guys usually arrive around eight, and by nine, the place is full of the usual clatter of an engineering shop. We don't have a lot of visitors, just the occasional delivery driver or someone from a nearby plot popping in to borrow a wrench. There is a small desk near the front where we keep the invoices and some old calendars. We don't go in for anything fancy or polished. The focus is always on the metal and the machines. Sometimes the power goes out and we all just sit outside on the steps and wait for it to come back. It is just how things are in this part of Gidc. We have been at 377 for a while now and everyone knows where to find us.
