Jaydeep Engineers

At Jaydeep Engineers, we’re located at No. 197/D in the G.I.D.C. Estate over in Makarpura. This area is full of workshops and warehouses, so it can get pretty loud with all the trucks moving in and out. Our spot is just one of many, but we’ve made it our own over the years. We have a couple of old machines that still run better than the new ones we bought recently. The floor is concrete and has some cracks, but it holds up fine. We do a lot of custom jobs for the other businesses nearby in the estate. Most days start with a quick cup of chai and a look at the drawings for whatever project is on the bench. Makarpura is a good spot for this kind of work because everything we need is close by. We don't spend much on decorating the place. The walls are mostly covered in old calendars and clipboards with job sheets. It gets pretty hot in the summer months under the tin roof, so we have a few big fans blowing all day. They don't do much but move the warm air around. People know us for being straightforward. If a job is going to take a week, we tell them it's a week. No point in making promises we can't keep when the materials are late or a machine breaks down. It's just honest shop work, through and through, right here in the heart of G.I.D.C.
