Yogi Engineering Works

Yogi Engineering Works sits on Plot No. 748-9 inside the GIDC Industrial Estate. It’s a twin plot, so we have a bit more room than some of the others, but we’ve managed to fill it up with gear and supplies pretty quickly. Being in the industrial estate means we are surrounded by trucks and loaders all day long. It’s a busy atmosphere, and there’s always a bit of dust in the air. We started this place because we wanted to do things our own way, without all the corporate overhead you find in the bigger cities. Most of our work involves standard engineering tasks—turning, milling, and whatever else needs doing for the local trade. Our team is small, just a few local guys who know their way around a lathe. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to answer the phones with a script. If the phone rings, one of us just wipes the oil off our hands and picks it up. Some days are smoother than others, but we always manage to get through the pile of work on the bench. The estate is a good place to be because we can always find a spare part or a bit of help from the neighbor if something breaks down. It's a community of makers and fixers, and we’re happy to be right in the middle of it at this address.
