V M Engineering Works

You can find V M Engineering Works over at Plot No. 901-4 in the Gidc Ind. Estate. We aren't a big company with a lot of departments, just a small crew that knows their way around a workshop. We deal with various engineering tasks, mostly mechanical stuff that people in the area need. The shop is usually humming with the sound of drills and saws. It gets hot in the summer, but we keep the doors open and just get on with it. We decided to set up here because the location is convenient for getting materials in and out. There’s always a pile of scrap metal in the corner waiting to be used or recycled. We don't have a receptionist, so if you walk in, you might have to wait a minute for someone to notice you over the noise. We just do the work as it comes. Sometimes the floor is a bit dusty, and the walls could use a new coat of paint, but the machines are what matter to us. They are old but they work well for what we need to do. We don't do much advertising because most people just know where we are. It’s just a straightforward place where things get made and fixed. We try to be fair and just do a solid job on every piece that leaves the shop. That's how we’ve always done things. We don't need fancy stuff and we don't have time for them.
