Star Engineering Works

Our shop, Star Engineering Works, is located at Plot No. 605-a4 in the Gidc Ind. Estate. It's not the biggest plot on the street, but we make the most of the space we have. We’ve got our machines packed in pretty tight, so you have to watch your step when you’re walking through. We focus on engineering tasks, mostly small to medium parts that require a steady hand and a bit of patience. The lighting inside isn't the best, so we use some extra lamps over the workbenches to see what we're doing. It’s a quiet place compared to some of the bigger factories, but we’re always humming along with some project. Our team is just a few guys who really know their way around a machine. We don't have a receptionist or anyone to answer the door, so you usually just have to walk in and find someone. We aren't worried about being fancy or impressive. We just care about the quality of the metal we’re turning. Sometimes we stay late to finish a rush order for a neighbor. That’s just the way things are in this estate. You help people out when you can. We’ve been here long enough that we feel like part of the furniture. It’s a steady job and we’re glad to be doing it. No big corporate goals, just good work every single day.
