Shivam Engineering Works

Shivam Engineering Works is situated at 748 6 20 in the Gidc Estate over in Makarpura. It is a busy corner of the world to be in. We spend most of our daylight hours here at the shop. The building is solid and was built for work, not for showing off. We do engineering stuff, the kind of things that involve getting your hands a little dirty and making sure parts fit together like they are supposed to. There is not a lot of downtime around here. When the machines are on, you can hardly hear yourself think, but that is just part of the life in Gidc. We have a small crew. Most of us have lived nearby for a long time. We do not have a big marketing department or anything like that. Usually, someone just answers the phone if they are not too busy with a machine or a tool. The address might seem like just a bunch of numbers to some, but to us, it is where we have spent the last few years building this up. We see the same faces every day, from the tea seller to the delivery drivers. It is a community of workers. We do not make big promises to people. We just look at what needs to be fixed or made and we get to it. Some days are long, especially when a machine breaks down, but we always manage to get through it.
