Shahara Engineering Works

We operate out of 497/6/3 in the Gidc Industrial Estate. Shahara Engineering Works is a small shop, but we stay pretty active with all the projects coming through. The air inside always smells a bit like oil and cut metal. It’s the kind of place where you need to watch where you step because there’s always something being worked on. We’ve been in this unit for a long time. The Gidc is a massive place, and it’s easy to get lost if you don't know the plot numbers well. We don't have any fancy signs or a big lobby for visitors. Usually, people just walk up to the main door and shout for one of us. We spend most of the day bent over workbenches or running the machines. It’s noisy and can get quite dusty, but that’s engineering for you. We don't have many employees, just a few guys who have been with us for years and know exactly how everything works. We don't like to overcomplicate things. We get the specs, we do the work, and we move on to the next job. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the day fixing them, which is frustrating, but it’s just how it goes. We stay busy and try to keep our workspace organized enough to find what we need.
