At S P Engineers, we spend our working hours at Plot No. 495-5-2 in the Gidc Ind. Estate. It is a bit of a trek to get to our specific corner of the industrial area, but once you arrive, it is all about the work. We have got a solid setup for the types of engineering tasks we handle every day. It is mostly mechanical stuff, dealing with heavy parts and machinery that needs a bit of attention or repair. The air in the shop is usually thick with the smell of grease and metal. We have a small crew, and we mostly just keep our heads down and work. We are not big on having meetings or doing a lot of paperwork; we would much rather be holding a tool or standing at the drill press. The lighting in the shop could be better, but we have been here so long that we know where every tool is even when it is dim. We have collected a lot of spare parts and random metal pieces over the years, so there is always something useful tucked away in a corner if we get stuck on a job. It is a bit cluttered, but it is our system and it works for us. We have seen the area change over time, but we just stay steady at Plot 495-5-2.
