S. M. Engitech

S. M. Engitech is our small engineering shop out at Plot No. 184/b in the GIDC Industrial Estate. We have been working from this same spot for a good while. We mostly do engineering parts and repair work for other local factories. It is the kind of place where things are always a bit messy because we are always in the middle of something. We have a few lathes and a milling machine that stay busy most of the week. My dad started this and now I am running it with a couple of helpers. We do not have a marketing guy or any brochures. If people need something fixed, they usually just hear about us from someone else in the estate. We spend a lot of time measuring things twice and cutting once. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It is not a high-tech lab. It is just a place where we solve mechanical problems with our hands. The floors are concrete and stained with oil, which is pretty standard for our line of work. We try to be helpful and honest about what we can actually do. If a job is too big for our machines, we just tell the customer. No sense in making promises we cannot keep. That is just how we operate here. We are just regular people doing engineering work every day.
