At S K Engineering Fabricator, things are usually moving pretty fast. We are right here at Plot No. 967-5 in the Gidc Ind. Estate. If you’re looking for us, look for the sparks from the welding torches. We do a lot of fabrication work. That means a lot of cutting, bending, and joining metal. The floor is rarely clean for long. We sweep up at the end of the day, but by ten the next morning, it’s messy again. It is a sign that we are working. We have a small crew and everyone knows their role. We don’t really need managers hovering around. We know what the job is and we do it. Sometimes the steel deliveries are late, which throws off our schedule, but we manage. You get to know the other guys in the estate. We help each other out with tools or advice when things get tricky. The noise is constant, but you stop noticing it after a few years. We keep the doors open most of the time to keep the smoke out. It can be a tough environment, but we take pride in finishing a project. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just fabricate what’s needed and move on to the next thing. It’s a straightforward business. No more, no less. We’ve been at this plot for a while now.
