R K Engineers

We operate R K Engineers out of Plot No. 747-10 in the Gidc Ind. Estate. If you know the Gidc area, you know it’s all about industry and getting things built. Our place is no different. It’s a functional shed where we do our engineering work. There is usually a bit of grease on the benches and the smell of metal in the air. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning or soft carpets. It’s just a solid workshop where we spend our hours from morning until late evening. The plot is big enough for our equipment, but it feels small when we have several projects going at once. We spend a lot of time measuring things and making sure the parts fit like they are supposed to. Sometimes the noise from the neighbors' machines is loud, but we’ve grown used to it over the years. The Gidc estate is a huge place, and being at Plot 747-10 means we are surrounded by other people doing similar hard work. We mostly just talk to our suppliers and the people who need things repaired or manufactured. There is no corporate ladder here, just a few of us who know how to handle the tools. We keep our paperwork in a small wooden desk in the corner that’s seen better days. It is just a straightforward, no-nonsense shop where we do what we know best for the local businesses.
