Perfect Techno Engineers

At Plot No. A2/10/31 in the Gidc Ind. Estate, you’ll find our workshop for Perfect Techno Engineers. We’re mostly about metalwork and fixing machinery that other people have given up on or can't seem to get right. It’s a lot of grease and the smell of hot steel in the air. The shop isn't exactly tidy, but we know where the wrenches and the lathe tools are kept. We’ve got a couple of heavy workbenches that have been dented and scratched over the years, showing all the jobs we’ve finished and the mistakes we've learned from. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate and we have to sit around and wait for it to come back on, which is just part of the local experience in this area. We don't have a big corporate structure here or anyone in a suit. It's usually just a few of us talking over a drawing on a scrap of paper, trying to figure out the best way to cut a piece of iron or weld a difficult joint. The ceiling is high, which helps with the heat in the afternoons, but it’s still a tough environment to be in for eight hours. We don't make any big promises or claims; we just take the work as it comes and try to do a decent job of it. Most of our customers are just other local guys from the same estate who need something fixed quickly so they can get back to their own production lines.
