Paras Engineers

If you come down to the Gidc Ind. Estate, you’ll find us at Plot No. 870-11. The sign on the door says Paras Engineers. It’s a smallish plot, numbered 870-11, and it’s tucked away a bit from the main road. We like it that way because it’s a little quieter. Inside Paras Engineers, it’s mostly just the sound of the equipment and maybe someone whistling. We spend a lot of time looking at drawings and measuring things out. It’s precise work, so we try to keep the distractions down. The light comes in through the high windows in the morning, which is the best time to be here. By the afternoon, it gets pretty warm and we have to turn the big floor fans on. We’ve got a small cupboard where we keep our tea supplies and some biscuits. It’s not much, but it’s enough for us. The yard outside Plot No. 870-11 has some old parts sitting in the corner that we keep meaning to clear out. The Gidc Ind. Estate is a busy place, but once you step inside our gates, it feels a bit more controlled. We know most of the people who work on this block. We’ve been Paras Engineers for a long time and the address has become very familiar to us over the years. We stay busy enough and the days go by fairly fast.
