Nirmala Precision Works

You can find Nirmala Precision Works over at Plot No. 283-5 in the GIDC Industrial Estate. As the name suggests, we do a lot of work that requires being very careful with measurements. We have several machines for turning, milling, and grinding. It’s the kind of work where a millimeter makes a huge difference, so we spend a lot of time looking at blueprints and checking our tools. The workshop isn't the quietest place, but you get used to the rhythmic sounds of the metal being shaped. We've been at this location for a while, and we’ve seen the estate change around us. Some businesses have left, and new ones have come in, but we’re still here at 283-5. Our team is mostly made of guys who grew up around machinery. They don’t need much instruction; they just know what needs to be done when a job comes in. We handle a lot of small parts for larger companies. Sometimes the work is repetitive, but it’s what we’re good at. We don't have a website or anything like that. Most of our work comes from word of mouth or long-standing relationships with other local shops. We just focus on keeping the machines running and making sure the parts we produce are what the customer asked for. It’s a decent living and keeps us busy from morning till evening.
