Meena Engineering

We’ve been here at Plot No. 605-c-17 for quite some time now. Gidc Ind. Estate is a busy place, always something moving or a truck backing up somewhere near the gate. Inside Meena Engineering, things stay pretty loud mostly because of the machines running all day long. It isn’t fancy at all. We have the main shop floor and a small desk where we keep the papers. Sometimes the fan doesn’t work right when it’s hot, but we manage. People come in asking for parts or wanting something fixed, and we just look at what they have and see if it can be done. Most days start early before the sun gets too high. We keep a lot of metal scraps in the corner because you never know when a small piece might come in handy for a quick job. The guys here have worked together for years. We don't talk much while working, just get the cutting and welding finished. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy. The floor gets dusty no matter how much we sweep it at the end of the shift. If you are looking for us, look for the faded blue door near the bend in the road. It’s not hard to find if you know the estate well enough. We just try to get the orders out so they don't pile up. The tea stall is right around the corner which is nice.
