Mahesh Engineers

Mahesh Engineers is located at Plot No. 93-a9 in the GIDC Industrial Estate. I’ve been coming to this same plot for years now, and not much has changed except for the pile of spare parts getting bigger in the corner. The GIDC estate is a busy place, and our little corner at 93-a9 is no different. It gets pretty loud once all the machines are running at the same time. We have a small team here, just a few of us who know how to handle the equipment. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. Mostly it’s just grease-stained shirts and sturdy boots. We spend most of our time looking at drawings or measuring parts. There’s a small office space, but it’s mostly filled with old catalogs and some half-empty coffee cups. We don’t spend much on advertising because the work usually speaks for itself. People in the estate know where we are if they need something fixed or fabricated. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a project, and the whole place feels different when the sun goes down and the other shops close. It’s a quiet kind of satisfaction when a job is finally finished. We aren't looking to become some massive corporation. We just like being our own bosses and doing things the way we know how. It’s honest work, even if it is a bit messy sometimes.
