Krishna Engineering Works

Krishna Engineering Works is located over at Plot No. 78-1-r in the Gidc Ind. Estate. If you come by, you’ll probably hear the machines before you see the door. We’ve been set up here for quite some time. It's just a regular workshop. We deal with engineering jobs that come our way. Some days are packed with small tasks, and other weeks we are stuck on one big piece of equipment. The estate is always crowded with trucks, so parking can be a bit of a headache. We try to keep things organized, but in a machine shop, there’s always a bit of a mess. Metal shavings, tools on benches, that kind of thing. It feels like home to us though. We have a small crew. Most of the guys have been here for years. We eat lunch together in the back room when we have a minute. It’s not fancy, just some stools and a table. We don't do much advertising. Most people find us because they heard about us from someone else in the estate. We like it that way. It keeps things simple. The weather gets really hot in the summer, especially with the machines running, but we’re used to it. We just keep the water cooler full and keep working. If you need something looked at, you can just drop by the plot. We’re usually there from eight to six. We have a lot of metal scraps in the corner.
