We are out in the G.I.D.C. Industrial Estate in Makarpura, specifically at No. 351/7/A. It’s an industrial area, so it’s always loud with the sound of metal hitting metal and machines running in the background. The workshop is big and can get quite hot in the afternoons, especially when the welding is going on. We have heavy equipment scattered around and raw materials stacked up in the corners. It’s a gritty place where we get our hands dirty every single day. There’s no front desk with a receptionist here; you usually just find one of us on the floor wearing work boots and a dusty shirt. We spend our time measuring, cutting, and joining pieces together according to the drawings we get. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we spend half the day just trying to get it running again. It’s honest work that requires a bit of muscle and a lot of patience. The smells of grease and iron are just part of the environment. We don't have a fancy break room, just a few benches where we sit for ten minutes to have some tea. It’s a busy life here in Makarpura, and we just keep busy with the engineering and fabrication tasks that come through the gates. It isn't pretty, but the work gets done and that’s what matters to us.
