Indraa Engineers

Indraa Engineers is tucked away at 966-1 in the Gidc Estate. If you aren't looking for the number, you might drive right past us. The building is a bit old and the paint is peeling in places, but it serves its purpose. We spend our days working on various engineering projects, mostly involving heavy parts and mechanical repairs. There is always a layer of soot on the windows and the air smells like burnt metal. It's not the kind of place where you would want to wear a nice suit. We usually wear old t-shirts that are covered in stains by noon. There are only a few of us here, so everyone has to know how to do everything. If a machine breaks down, we fix it ourselves instead of calling someone else. We don't have a computer system for tracking everything, just a big notebook where we scribble down what we did and who it's for. Sometimes we lose track of time and stay until it's dark outside. The tea stall nearby is our main hangout during the afternoon break. We don't have any big goals of expanding or becoming famous. We just want to keep the shop running and do a decent job for the people who trust us with their equipment. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of life. We just take things one day at a time and try to stay out of trouble.
