Hiren Engineering Works

Hiren Engineering Works is located over at Plot No. 238 in the Gidc Ind. Estate. It’s a pretty standard workshop where we spend most of our time dealing with various metal parts and mechanical repairs. We’ve been in this same spot for years, and the shop has seen a lot of use. It’s not the cleanest place you’ll ever visit, but that’s because we’re always right in the middle of a job. There’s usually a lot of scrap metal and tools lying around on the benches. We don't have a big office or a place for visitors to sit down and have coffee. If you come to see us, you’ll likely find us under a machine or working at the lathe. We’re just a small group of guys who like working with our hands. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just take the work as it comes and try to do an honest job of it. Sometimes parts take longer to arrive than we’d like, and things get backed up, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. We know most of the other owners around Gidc, and we help each other out when someone is missing a tool or needs a hand with something heavy. It’s a simple life here, just working day in and day out at Plot 238. We keep the doors open through the heat and the rain to keep things moving along for whoever needs help.
