You can find us at Plot No. 605-a-15 in the Gidc Ind. Estate, right near the G. C. E. L. building. It’s a busy industrial corner where there’s always a truck backing in or someone unloading steel. We do engineering work here, so the shop floor is full of heavy equipment and the smell of cutting oil. It’s a functional space, mostly concrete and metal, with big windows up high that let in some light. We have a crew that’s been around for a long time, so everyone knows their role without being told. The office is just a small partitioned area near the front where we keep the blueprints and the computer. It’s usually a bit cooler in there, which is nice during the summer months. We handle a lot of custom parts, so no two days are exactly the same. Sometimes we’re working on a single big piece for a week, and other times it’s hundreds of small ones. The estate can get quite crowded, and parking is always a bit of a gamble near the entrance. We don’t have any polished floors or corporate decorations. It’s just a place where we work with our hands and make sure the specs are met. We like to keep things simple and just focus on the engineering tasks at hand, making sure the machines are kept in good running order.
