Dipak Engineering Works

If you’re looking for Dipak Engineering Works, we’re located at Plot No. 186-c1-a in the GIDC Ind. Estate. It’s a solid little spot where we do all our fabrication and machining. We’ve got some old-school lathes and a few newer pieces of equipment that we’re still getting used to. The shop isn't exactly tidy, but we know where everything is. There’s a pile of scrap in the corner that we keep meaning to clear out, but we always find something else to do first. We mostly work on parts for local factories. It’s the kind of work where you have to be careful with every millimeter. We spend a lot of time measuring and then measuring again just to be sure. It can be a bit slow, but it’s better than doing it twice. Most of us have been working with our hands since we were kids. We aren't interested in corporate talk or big presentations. We’d rather just show you a finished part and let that be it. The coffee here is usually too strong, and the radio in the back plays the same five songs, but it’s a good place to be. We’ve seen the GIDC change quite a bit over the years, with new plots opening up all the time. We just keep our heads down and keep the machines running. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s our life.
