Dinesh Engineering Works

Dinesh Engineering Works is tucked away at Plot No. C-1-186-a in the Gidc Ind. Estate. It’s a place filled with the sound of machines running most of the day. We’ve got lathes and various tools set up across the floor. It’s not a quiet environment, but that’s what happens when you’re working with metal and parts. The floor usually has some oil spots and metal shavings, which is normal for an engineering shop like ours. Our team is mostly made up of guys who have been working with their hands for a long time. We take on various jobs that come our way from other businesses in the estate. Some days we are fixing a broken part, and other days we are making something from scratch based on a drawing. It’s hands-on work. We don’t spend much time on paperwork unless we have to. The office is just a small corner with a desk and a couple of chairs for when someone drops by to talk about a job. Being in GIDC means we have neighbors doing all sorts of things, so there’s a lot of back and forth. We’ve been at this spot for a good bit now. Sometimes the machines act up or a tool breaks, and we just deal with it and keep moving. It’s a simple setup but it works for what we do. We just focus on the metal and the machines every day.
