C N Engineers

Our small shop, C N Engineers, is located at Plot No. 169 in the GIDC Industrial Estate. It is a modest space, mostly taken up by our machinery and worktables. We don’t have much room for anything that isn't essential to the work. The floor is concrete and has a few cracks here and there, but it serves us just fine. Most days, we are busy with manual work and keeping the machines running smoothly. We are a small crew, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from cleaning up the metal shavings to helping out with the technical side of things. There is a lot of dust in the air in this part of the estate, but we just keep the fans going and carry on. We don’t really believe in having a lot of rules or formal structures. If someone needs something done, we just talk it over and get started. It’s a very hands-on environment. The neighborhood around Plot 169 is full of other small workshops, so there is always someone nearby if we need to borrow a tool or get some advice on a tricky problem. We’ve stayed in this spot because it suits us. We aren’t looking to become a giant company; we just want to do our daily work well and keep the machines humming. It’s a decent, quiet way to spend the day, even with all the noise from the neighbors.
