We are over at Plot No. 200-5 in the Gidc Ind. Estate. It’s a busy place and mostly you just hear the sound of machines running all day long. Bay Engineers isn’t a fancy office with big glass windows or anything like that. It’s a workspace where things get fixed and parts get moved around. Most mornings start with the same routine of opening up the big metal doors and checking what needs to be done. The Gidc area is always full of trucks and people moving from one plot to another, so there is plenty of noise. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints and working with tools that have seen a lot of use over the years. Some days it gets pretty hot inside, but that is just how it is when you are working with metal. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of the work is done with our hands. People know where to find us if they need something made or repaired. The address is easy to find if you know the estate well enough. We keep the floor as clean as possible, but in this line of work, there is always going to be a bit of grease and metal shavings around. It’s just a regular shop where we get the job done and go home when the sun goes down.
